(The actual garment prices are constant regardless of how many or

of a calculated price. All prices are subject to VAT at 20%
(apart from exports outside the European Union.) Youth size shirts
are not themselves subject to VAT, although any printing on them IS
subject to VAT. |

| How
to calculate the price of your shirts |
|
|
|
First,
work out how many prints you need (e.g., a shirt with 2-colour front
and 1-colour back print will require 3 prints.) Then, decide how
many garments you require with these prints,; use this number to
find the print prices from the table below (e.g., for a batch of
100 shirts, 80p plus 2x60p gives £2.00 for the printing of
a shirt with 3 prints.) Then add the cost of the garment (e.g. £2.05
for a black Gildan Heavy t-shirt) and you have your per-unit price:
in this case, £4.05 for a Gildan Heavy t-shirt with 3 prints,
as part of a batch of 100 garments. You can mix and match garment
types, colours and sizes without affecting the unit prices.
Multiply the
per-unit price by the number of garments required; then add the
cost of the screens (in this case there are three, making £60.00)
and TNT delivery (£12.00) and you have your net total. Add
VAT at 17.5%, and there's your price! Here's how this example adds
up:
3 screens @
£20.00 = £60.00
100 Gildan Heavy t-shirts @ £4.05 = £405.00 (£2.05 per shirt plus
£2.00 per set of 3 prints)
Delivery = £12.00
SUBTOTAL = £477.00
VAT @ 20% = £95.40
TOTAL = £562.40 including delivery and VAT
A re-order for
100 identical shirts with the same prints would total £500.40
(including VAT), as there would be no screen charge.
If your order
contains several batches of shirts, with different prints, we normally
base the print prices for the whole order on the size of the largest
batch.
